A snapdragon (Antirrhinum) is a sort of plants which today is counted to the family of the Plantaginaceae because their molecular datas.Traditionel she was in the family of the Scrophulariaceae. The category has a disjunct ground and exist in 21 sorts in the west Mediterrean and with 15 sorts in the west of Northamerica. A lot of sorts of the snapdragon are famous as ornamental plant and the big one (Antirrhinum majus) is an important model plant for the exploration of the development of blooms.

snapdragons are perennial or oneyear herbaceous plants. The growth variats strongly and contains branching sorts. With the most american sorts are short rankings buildet. All sorts have a strong developing rootnetwork as an adaption to dry habitat. From the in opposite ordered, while the higher on the bloom sitting and changing leaves the ones down are shafted. The simply leaves have feathernerves.

The brooms stand alone or in endind brooms together. The hybrid, zygomorph brooms exept of the Antiirrhinum ovatum, created as eye-catching maskflowers which under lip is closed. The nektar is made by a circular nectar on the basis of the fruit ans collect itself in a bulge on the underside of the low lip. The three top levels of the low lip are not equal in size. To narcote a strong insect has to put down the low lip to rech the polls and the nectar.
Snapdragons are coloured in different colour: white, yellow and pink are just a choice out of them. If you hav ethem in your garden you have to cut of the broom. To keep them longer nice you cut them in the morning after watering the plant the evening before.

Black oyster plants belong to the family of Boraginaceae and doesn`t belong to plants to heal. Because of their after oyster tasting taste they are used as spiceplants. The black oyster plant you find on beaches with sand and be load along the northatlantic. The oyster plant Mertensia maritima is a crowling, perennial succulent coastplant with blue-grew, until 6 cm long leaves. The funnel-shaped florals are rosy in the beginning and later transparent blue.

Both the leaves and the shaft can be eaten raw are cooked. When you cook them you smell a taste which reminds on oyster. Strange us that people report from the smell who never ate oyster before. It has also a very soft taste. Often people describe also a delicate taste after oyster with a tone of mushroom. The leaves are a welcomed change which fit to salad or to vegetarian food. Also the beefy rhizonom is cooked eatable. For the Inuit it is a definite part of their food. But today the black oyster plant is seldom so that you better keep the rhizonom. To cultivate the plant you use a sandy ground with a good drainage. You can mix alittle saltt in the ground. They should stay sunny.

Its oringins are in the religion of the Mediterrian. In antique times they were used as vegetables. In the 13th century from Albertus Magnus noticed and during the following centuries always mentioned again the black oyster plant displace the normal oyster plant in the 19th century. Today there is only a mentionable cultuvation in England. There it is called vegetable oyster. In the garden the plant root and the leaves grow in the first year. A violett bloom shows up in the second year. She opens in the morning and closes in the evening. After the bloom the plant root gets hard like wood.

You can divide your garden into two different areas, one with a more “”public”" appearance, the front garden, and the back garden which will just please yourself and your family. A back garden often has a certain disadvantage, but this is not necessarily so. But in many cases the front part is the sunnier side and gets more light than the part in the back. But the opposite may be true, too, and this might lead to your back garden being a little piece of paradise!
Either way, light or a bit darker, the garden in the back has the special advantage of being more secluded. While the front garden is kind of a showcase which will be commented upon by neighbours and passers-by, the garden that is hidden in the back is all yours. So, feel free to plant the things that you desire, choose any style, Meditteranean, rural or Asian, anything your heart desires, and turn this into your personal paradise. You may have a terrace, you may set up hammocks, a pavillion, anything that you like. If a lawn appeals to you, fine, a nice place for the children to play can be created. If your mind is set on having a Mediterranean spot, complete with terracotta potholders, herbs, such as rosemary or thyme, it is your choice.
A more secret garden holds any chances to act independently. And if you don`t find the time to do a lot of gardening, no harm is done, since everything is more clandestine, less open. So your place for recreation may be in the back, lazy Sundays spent on a wicker bench, drinking coffee, talking on the phone – and no one to bother you. Freedom in a special way, so make use of the chances that present themselves. Follow your personal taste, use rocks, shells, dig a pond, create a plant spiral, or just let things grow the way they want to. After all, it is your place of recreation, and it should be precisely the way you want it to be.

The formal garden is characterized by symmetry and the balance of plants put together with architectural features. Usually this type of garden comes up with, as some other types of gardens aswell, plantings, fountains and pools. It is not necessary to be extravagant in any way to give an garden the touch of formal design. It’s more important to keep in mind that formal gardens are not just the classic French parterres of Versailles for example. In addition to that, formal gardens aren’t fossils aswell.

Triggered Feelings
Proportion and place are important factors to make the triggered magic of a formal garden happen. By having everything in its place and in proportion a feeling of calmness comes along. Timelessness and safeness are the most common words to describe the feelings caused by formal gardens. They aren’t based on fashion. But they are based on a balanced design which is created by architectural features such as geometric configurations and clipped evergreens. The special thing about the clipped evergreens is that they can be transformed into any animals, fish, flowers or even geometrical shapes, plus their “”beauty in green”" can be regarded the whole year.

The Formal Style
The style of those formal gardens is not confined to the classic French gardens. There can be found many beautiful examples of formal gardens in New Orleans and the best of it is that they can be viewed by interested people which means that those evergreen places are open to the public.

To conclude, formal gardens mostly contain the same typical features such as plantings and pools as many other gardens do. The difference of formal gardens to a normal type of garden lies in their balance which is produced by the architectural features such as the symmetry or the decorative pattern and of course the variety and creativity of the clipped evergreens. In addition to that, we shouldn’t forget about the fact that people that make their way through those gardens, or only let their eyes come across formal gardens, are facing a feeling of calmness and safeness connected with a touch of elegance and charm which seem to be really great associations for an visit or look through a garden.

The term out back may not be so familiar to most people and that is why I will start by giving you a simple definition. Out back refers to the bushy, inaccessible and sparsely populated areas mostly in Australia. With growth rate on the rise, pressure is mounting and people are pushed to decide weather to live in the big crowded cities or move to the small towns and build their lovely homes. Out back are mostly located far from city and have thus attracted a number of uses which are of economic benefits to those living around these areas.
In such areas, be sure to find diverse species of wild animals such as the Kangaroo or the dingo. Although not the whole region is infertile, the fertile part is used as rangeland and has for centuries been used to rear sheep’s and cattle with authorization from federal government. Clay soil is easily noticed on parts of the land but a big potion is usually palaeosols which is very infertile. Therefore, if you are thinking of a place to have your large cattle breed, this may be one place you will have easy time and less of stress in managing your firm.
Do not confuse this neighborhood with bushes, or scrubby rural areas. They are quite different and you will notice that the area in question rarely supports life. There are only but few settlements in this region due to high temperatures and the unbearable climatic conditions. Besides those who set up mining camps, or tourist hot sports, there are few natives who live around this region since time immemorial. This inhospitable environment has proved itself and is home to certain wild life animals most of which are not of any economical benefit to humans.
With proper planning, this province can be well utilized its usefulness maximized. Areas that have rich clay soil will by all means support green vegetation and provide grazing ground for castles. Such should be taken advantage of and in the long run, you will be out of the noisy town life and rearing your castles in a well protected and natural environment.

”

Many home owners are considering landscape gardening in the quest to beautify their environment. There are so many benefits associated to landscape gardening. Some say that by simply planting trees on their backyards, they save a lot of on electricity bills. Many potential home owners are always choosy and consider landscape gardening as an integral part in assessing the value of a house. Some people say that landscaping offers home security. Shrubs and thorns are planted under the windows to impede burglaries. Insurance agencies have also put a lot of emphasis on landscaping and will pay substantial amounts if the trees in your garden are struck by lightning.
The common feature in landscaping is the attraction of the eye. When planning a landscape, you need to clearly envision the outcome. This can be done by jotting down your ideas on a piece of paper, carefully recording the steps you are taking. You don’t want your backyard to look like a construction site. If you want a professionally done landscape, then you should hire the services of landscape designers. The process in itself is time consuming and requires effort and dedication as you can give up easily along the way. When selecting the plants, don’t just limit yourself to grass trees and shrubs. Think of outdoor lighting, deck, a flowered pathway or even a fountain. Having in mind the idea of what you want to accomplish will help a lot. To save money, you should do the purchases during the off- season. Wood for example is much cheaper during the winter season. Shrub and soil are cheaper when the season is coming to an end. Planning must always precede planting. The two should integrate so that they perfectly complement each other. The plants to be planted should be carefully selected.
Landscape design has undergone a major transformation since the Victorian error. A modern design is simple and elegant at the same time. The garden should be seen as more than just a place of growing flowers. The beauty of a garden is in its artistry. It is how you maximise the space that you have so that you produce something unique.

Terraced garden is a concept not known to many and even experienced landscape designers find the simplicity in it as challenging. After a working hard during the day, we all need to relax our body and mind. Terraced garden provides a cool ambience and a serene environment for solitude and self reflection. This is because a good environment is always associated with nature. Nature captivates our minds and enhances relaxation. You can sit in your terrace garden in the morning to take a cup of tea or you can invite friends over for a couple of drinks in the evening. Terraced garden can be an enjoyable activity especially for families or a group of friends mostly women. Everyone enjoys a good environment and trees are refreshing and pleasing to the eyes. If there are a lot plants, then it is a surety that your environment will be clean and chances of falling seek are very low. Moreover, nature teaches us two very important human virtues, calmness and patience. With a terrace garden, you are reminded of these virtues on a daily basis.
A typical terrace garden consists of shrubs, grass, fountains, trees, deck, solar lights, other plants and most importantly a water body. You can also consider planting vegetables in you terrace or even fruits for that matter. A list of vegetables common in terrace gardens includes chillies, cauliflower, tomatoes and cabbages. Flowers should also be included in the terrace garden and the common colours are red and white. A new concept in terrace gardening is green building. Green building keeps the environment clean and prevents air pollution. You might not have the time to walk in the park but you don’t need to be invited to take a walk inside your terrace. In order to make your terrace garden look more natural, concrete or stone is recommended.
However you could also use marble and granite. A good terrace garden should have an effective drainage system. The advantages of a garden cannot be downplayed. If you still have doubts on whether or not to have a garden on terrace, then you are losing a lot. Hope the information provided has made aware of the importance of terrace gardens.

Having a garden can be sweet on one hand and very devastating on the other. If you do not take adequate measures to manage your garden, you will end up with a rampant garden which may be home to a number of pests and other diseases. You therefore have to know ways and means through which you can manage various garden areas as this will help you maximize and enjoy the full benefits of having a garden.
To avoid the risk of housing rodents, snakes and other wild creatures, you have to avoid rampant garden at all cost. Rampant garden will lead to rampant plants growing allover and this will greatly hurt the beauty of your garden area. As much as gardens will create an ambience and unique mood to your home, you have to exercise a lot of patience and hard work towards doing maintenance services.
Weather your garden consists of only flowers or if you are keeping crops, carrying out routine garden maintenance will lead to the overall beautification of your back or front yard. There are several maintenance procedures that you may undertake to help have a well organized and neatly kept garden. You can decide to arrange to plants, seclude only a small section to gardening or have the garden area fenced. These are some of the measures you can use in order to cub the menacing threat of a garden not well maintained.
The aesthetic value of a garden is only noticed when the garden is in good shape and one can comfortably spend time without the worry of what may happen to them. Therefore if you have decided to have a home garden, you have to be ready to adequately do the routine maintenance required. But in the event you can not, hiring a gardener will be the most likely option to take. Besides beauty purpose, a garden is a healthy addition to your home. It necessitates other natural biological benefits that the human body is in need of. With that in mind, get out and check your garden and see if it is really what you want it to be like. Does it meet your standards and is it well organized or you need to do some more work on it?

Pest plants are mostly specialized in different kinds of plants. The main groups are pest plant on vegetables, on fruit, on wheet and on ornamental plants. Vermins from vegetables are earthfleas, eartbeads, vegetablegrubs, potatoebettles and grubs. Earthfleas do little wholes in the leaves espacially on cabbage and radish. Earthbeads like to eat the roots of the plant. Potatobettles also eat the leaves.

To protect the plants you should keep the earth wet and use mulches. The potato plant you have to control regularly.
The grubs you can fight with nets. On fruits you find pest plants like cancer, the cherryfruitfly, grew horse, real mildew, wrong mildew and beads. The mildew you can prohibit with cutting the sick parts of the plant out. The foliage has also to removed. Fungalprotection is to be sprayed before and after the bloom.

Pest plants on wheet are algae, clover and moss. A protection against them is a good feeding with nutriment. To much wetness should also be avoided. Use also high class wheet and give azote to it. When they are already on the plant it is neccessary to verticulate the wheet. Another way is to proof the pH and remove the clover to put new wheet.

On ornamental plants you find in first line louses: leavelouses, bucklerlouses and sprucelouses. To avoid them it can be helpful to feed birds which eat them. The airwetness should not be to high. Enough dunging is also essential. If the pest plant has already settled it is neccessary to spray insecticide. Also a balm or extra dunging can help.
In every case they are not a helpful plant and you have to be careful that not too many of your palnts get catched by them. ”
